Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Emily believes the suppressed traumas of our past hinder us from living a healthy future. These traumas become road blocks to future relationships, work ethic, self esteem, etc. Therapy gives clients the tools to process and unpack the past damage that keeps us from truly living. The process of doing this alone can feel impossible, and for this reason she became a therapist. The therapeutic relationship Emily builds with every client is fundamental for successful therapy.
She understands every individual has different needs and adjusts her sessions accordingly. She has experience in several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Expressive Art Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, Play Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
